. Terroir driven Dunn Cabernet. Taylor Single Barrel August 21 2019. Decent bit of heat on the nose along with fruity sweetness.

Barrell Dovetail Barrell Dovetail 12334 proof Here Ive put together a review for Barrells Dovetailand truly unique bottling. Bottled-In-Bond 100 August 21 2019. Its initially quite fruity and floral showcasing a bright acidity and notes of green apple and unripe pear grape skins and white flowers.

The guy at Total Wine commented that it was a good one Lets see how it is. Back to School Edition. Black strap molasses casks.

I recently reviewed both Barrell Bourbon. I think primarily strawberry which I assume is a result of. Neat in a rocks glass Nose.

As it opens in the glass a savory almost. This review is based on the remaining 14 of my bottle of Barrel Dovetail. I have to admit I am a little bit biased because I seem to gravitate to all of Barrells finished Whiskeys.

Apart from the usual dusty smell I get huge fruit sweetness. Classically sweet with complementary spice and barrel notes Gold Label Dovetail is an exceptional whiskey that delivers in the right ways. 8999 no tax in DE Nose.

I hope that other batches are a lot better because I wouldnt recommend this particular 619 ABV batch especially at 80. Dovetail took almost a year to get right and highlights some outstanding flavors that were achieved from blending a 10 year whiskey from Indiana that was finished in Dunn. I feel so strange writing this because I really wanted to like Dovetail.

Unique tasting incredibly drinkable.
